Meet: Dr. Stacie (Archuleta) Eskew
Dr. Stacie (Archuleta) Eskew, O.D. is passionate about helping athletes of all ages improve their sports performance through sports vision training. She has personally worked with collegiate and professional athletes to maximize their visual skills for optimal sports performance. In addition to helping athletes, she has experience in primary vision care for children and adults. This includes the examination and treatment of children with functional and developmental vision problems.
Dr. Eskew regularly attends sport and other symposiums, staying current on equipment and research that can be used to treat athletes/patients. Rest assured that as an athlete/patient of Val Vista Vision, you are being treated with the latest technology available.
Originally from Green River, Wyoming, Dr. Eskew moved to Chandler, Arizona in 1985. A graduate of Chandler High School, she attended Mesa Community College where she received her Associate of Arts in 1993. She moved to Oregon and attended Pacific University College of Optometry where she earned a Bachelor of Science and later her Doctorate of Optometry. Upon graduation, she moved back to Chandler, Arizona and joined Family Optometry, where she practiced for 10 years. She has practiced in Gilbert, Arizona for the past seven years and joined Val Vista Vision in October 2011.
When she is not with patients or researching the latest in vision technology, Dr. Eskew enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. She actively volunteers at her children’s school and enjoys watching them play sports.
